Archie Tamplin

Archie Tamplin joined the Clarets in May 2024, having impressed with Lewes the season prior. He made 38 appearances and scored 3 times on the South Coast on the 2023-24 season. His football journey started out with West Ham and Arsenal, playing there at youth level. He had also featured for Billericay Town in the National League South, who are no stranger to Chelmsford City. He went on to play 47 times and score 3 goals for the Clarets in the 2024-25 season, picking up the Young Player of the Season and the Away Coaches Player of the Season. He resigned with the club in July 2025, ahead of the pre-season campaign.
