We are delighted to announce the signing of Winger Kai Corbett!

The 22-year-old joins after a trophy-winning season at Aldershot Town. Corbett netted a hattrick in the Shots’ Fourth Round tie against Chertsey Town and featured in the Wembley win from the bench. Born in Barcelona, he was part of the world famous La Masia academy at a young age before most notably settling with West Ham for 7 years. He departed the Hammers and went to Peterborough, making his debut for the club in the Championship. After a loan spell with Scunthorpe, and 3 years at Peterborough, he departed for Aldershot where he spent the 2024-25 season. He made 34 appearances in the National League and, as mentioned, was part of the side which secured Aldershot’s first ever FA Trophy success.

Upon joining the club, Corbett said: “I’m delighted to be here, I spoke with Jack Barham a few weeks ago and he spoke highly of the club and now I’m here.

“I’m buzzing to get going, looking forward to potentially being involved tomorrow and getting some minutes in my legs.

“We’re going to need the supporters this season, win, lose or draw, keep supporting us.”

Manager Angelo Harrop said: “I’m really happy we’ve managed to bring Kai in, he’s a player that will really excite our fans.

“He’s a perfect age for us to improve and develop him as a player although he’s already extremely athletic and has an eye for goal.

“I’m excited to getting to work with him and to help him develop.”

A big warm welcome to Kai and we look forward to seeing him in action!
