We are aware of allegations of racial abuse from behind the goal we were defending in the first-half during yesterday’s derby with Billericay Town.
We at Chelmsford City Football Club do not tolerate racism or abuse of any kind and believe that football is for everyone.
Race should never be a barrier and we strongly condemn those who racially abuse an individual over the colour of their skin.
We will be co-operating fully with the FA during their investigations on this matter.
