Midfielder leaves to join fellow National League South club
Chelmsford City can announce that Dara Dada has today agreed to join Hemel Hempstead Town for the 2022/23 season.
Compensation will now be agreed between the two clubs or set at tribunal.
Dada, 23, joined Robbie Simpson’s squad last summer having spent the 2020/21 campaign with fellow National League South side St Albans City.
Prior to joining the Saints in the summer of 2020, Dara had a spell with Isthmian League North Division club Barking FC.
During his career to date, he has also played for Chalfont St Peter, Hertford Town, Berkhamsted and Staines Town.
For Chelmsford City, Dada made 39 appearances for the club and scored 4 goals, including a goal of the season contender away at Bath City. He became a popular member of the squad with his direct running and energetic displays and was named Supporters’ Club Away Player of the Year.
We thank Dara for his time with us wish him the best of luck with his move to the Tudors.
