We are delighted to announce that Goalkeeper George Coton has signed registration forms with the club to continue his journey on the Clarets Pathway.

George was part of the Clarets Pathway last season, gaining experience with the likes of Saffron Walden, whilst also playing for our Under 21s. He also regularly trained with the first-team, alongside first team keeper Ted Collins and fellow pathway keeper James Askew.

Head of Player Pathway Rob Moore said: “George is another ideal addition to our pathway. Despite being so young, he’s actually a familiar face having trained with our first-team throughout last season. For a goalkeeper in particular, he’s right at the very beginning of his career and we have high hopes for his development.

“For now, he’ll enjoy more time on loan at a club this season to gain further experience and will be part of our U21 setup. His progress in the last 12 months has been really impressive and he’s a mature lad who has totally bought into our pathway. I’m delighted he has committed to our club and we can continue building his journey.”
