We can confirm that Glenn McConnell has been recalled from loan by Cambridge United.
Glenn joined the club on loan in November and went on to make 8 appearances in all competitions. Glenn picked up assists in both the Essex Senior Cup games he featured in for the Clarets.
Manager Robbie Simpson said: “A big thanks to Glenn and good luck for his return at Cambridge.
It’s a real shame because with Charlie getting injured he was set for a run in the side for a few games so it’s really bad timing but we wish him all the best and hopefully he gets a chance in the first team there and he can showcase what he is about!”
A massive thank you to Glenn for his efforts and hard work in a Clarets shirt and we wish him nothing but the best for the future!
