We are delighted to announce that two of our Clarets have been called up for International Duty with their respective National Teams. Defender, Jazzi Barnum-Bobb, has been called up for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Goalkeeper Eddie Beach has been called up to Wales’ U21 Squad.
As a result, both Jazzi and Eddie will be unavailable for selection for Saturday 25th March when we travel to Dartford.
Jazzi Barnum-Bobb and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines are due to play two matches in the CONCACAF Nations League Group B. A trip to Nicaragua on Saturday 25th March, Kick-Off at 00:00 (GMT), and a Home match against the Bahamas on Monday 27th March at 19:00 (GMT). Saint Vincent and the Grenadines currently sit bottom of Group C in league B but will be hoping that they can propel themselves off the bottom in their upcoming matches. We wish Jazzi the best of luck for his time with Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in their CONCACAF Nations League Games.
Eddie Beach and Wales U21 have two international friendlies lined up over the next week, the first a match against Colombia U20 at the Pinatar Arena in Spain on Thursday 23rd March, Kick-Off at 12:00 (GMT) while completing their time in Spain with a game against Scotland U21 on Sunday 26th March, Kick-Off at 12:00 (GMT). Wales U21 are gearing themselves up for starting their UEFA Euro Under-21 Qualifying Campaign in June where they start with a trip to Denmark.
