We are delighted to announce the signing of Striker Jack Barham from Aldershot Town!
The 29-year-old joins the Clarets on a 2-year deal after a trophy-winning season with National League outfit Aldershot Town. Barham won the FA Trophy with the Shots, scoring the opener in a 3-0 victory over Spennymoor Town, as well as picking up the Man of the Match award. He has hit double figures for goals in his last 4 seasons, on the books of Aldershot and Maidstone United. He was part of Maidstone’s promotion-winning side, scoring 18 goals in 27 league appearances. His non-league journey actually started with the Clarets, featuring once in an Essex Senior Cup tie. He worked his way up and found himself with Barnet in the National League in 2018. He featured for the likes of Bromley, Welling and Dorking on loan from the Bees, before joining Marc White’s side permanently. A spell with Dartford during the forgotten 2020-21 season came before his time at Maidstone.
Upon joining the club, Barham said: “I’m really excited to be here.
“When Adam and Angelo first approached me, a while ago now, they told me about the project here and it was something that really interested me.
“I am buzzing to have been able to get the deal sorted and I can’t wait to get started!”
Manager Angelo Harrop said: “I’m absolutely delighted to bring Jack onboard, what a signing for the football club. If we were a National League side, I’d be looking to sign Jack, so he’ll be massive for us.
“He’s a player that is going to be tenacious, will really work hard and I’m sure that he is going to be a favourite amongst the fans.
“Ultimately he will score goals so I’m really looking forward to getting to work with him and hitting the ground running.”
A big warm welcome to Jack and we look forward to seeing him in action!
