We are delighted to announce the signing of Striker Jordan Greenidge!
24-year-old Jordan Greenidge joins that Clarets after playing for both Tonbridge Angels and Dartford last season. Greenidge had the most prolific spell of his career with the Angels, scoring 24 league goals in 54 league games. His career initially started at Stoke City, before he had spells in Cyprus, Spain and with Newport County in the EFL. He is no stranger to the National League South having also played for Hemel Hempstead alongside Dartford and Tonbridge.
Manager Robbie Simpson said: “We are delighted to bring Jordan to the club, we have admired him from afar for a few seasons now.
Whenever we have played against him he is always someone that you’ve got to speak about and come up with a plan against.
Purely his size and presence just automatically causes problems and brings defenders towards him which hopefully will free space up for others when that does happen.
He is 6 foot 5, he’s bring, strong, quick, he has got every attribute you could ever want as a centre forward!
Over the last few years he has scored over 25 goals at this level so he is a real handful and we hope that he can do that for us now rather than against us!
I am really looking forward to seeing him in a Clarets shirt!”
Welcome to the Clarets Jordan!
