We are delighted to announce the signing of Attacking Midfielder Josh Hedges!
The 21-year-old joins after 2 successful seasons on the South coast with Salisbury. In the 2023-24 season, Hedges contributed to Salisbury’s promotion-winning campaign. He was an integral part in their playoff campaign as they beat Gosport Borough in the Semis and Totton on penalties in the final. In Salisbury’s first season back in the National League South he went on to score 10 goals and pick up 8 assists in just 30 appearances. Prior to his time with Salisbury, he played for Didcot Town. It was another successful spell with them, as he gained promotion with them as well.
Upon joining the club, Hedges said: “I’m very excited to be here, so happy to get the deal over the line.
“It’s going to be a new chapter for me, it felt like now was the time to kick on with full time football and Angelo told me about the project so it felt like a no-brainer.
“I hope the supporters are ready for an exciting season, I’m here and want to get promoted, the club does so let’s do it all together!”
