18-year-old Frankie Edwards joined the Clarets on loan from League 2 side Colchester United. Edwards is a central defender who spent last season on loan with Maldon & Tiptree. Over the summer Frankie put pen to paper on his first professional deal with Colchester United after his proactive loan spell and minutes with Colchester’s youth sides.
