Ted Collins joined the Clarets in June 2024, after coming through Colchester United’s academy. The Colchester-born keeper made his first team debut for the U’s when he 19-years-old, after he was introduced as a second half substitute during a 1-1 draw with Swindon Town in January 2022.
Collins also picked up experience out on loan with fellow non-league sides sides such as Holland FC, Potters Bar and Maldon & Tiptree. Collins was named among the Colchester United substitutes on a handful of occasions following his loan spell at Potters Bar. Ted has started the Clarets’ opening eight National League South games of the 2024-25 season.
