We would like to make all fans aware that tomorrow, December 26th, both teams will participate in a small tribute to commemorate the life of Paul Catley. Paul featured for both clubs, so it is fitting that the 2 sides pay their respects before our boxing day clash.
Here is what is expected to happen tomorrow, prior to kick off:

14:49 Players respect line up
14:51 Players & Ex players to form a guard of honour for Paul’s Family – Ex Players enter the field of play via gate in front of the main stand with players around the centre circle. A short write up has been put together for Paul from Braintree Historian Jon Weaver this will be read out over the tannoy. Naturally it is more about Paul’s Career with Braintree.
14:56 2 minute applause in hour of Paul – Captains lay club wreaths in centre of pitch
14:58 coin toss
15:00 Kick off
