The Club is devastated to learn of the passing of former goalkeeper Paul Catley.
Signed by Gary Bellamy in February 1999 ‘Cats’ went on to make 106 appearances for the Club. He was part of the side that finished runners up to Newport I.O.W. in the Southern League Eastern Division in 2000-2001. Indeed his last game for the Club was in the championship decider against Newport I.O.W. on 5th May 2001.
He also appeared for the Club in the F.A. Cup First Round when City travelled to Oldham Athletic.
The Club sends it’s condolences to Paul’s family and friends at this sad time.
