We are delighted to announce the signing of Defender Ruaridh Donaldson!
Ruaridh played for Hampton & Richmond last season, where he had been since 2019. Prior to that, he had a successful with Stenhousemuir in Scotland, obtaining promotion from Scottish League 2. He has also played for Scottish sides Bonnyrigg, Tayport, Forfar West End and Abertay University.
Manager Robbie Simpson said: “We have been liasing with Ruaridh for a while now, we are delighted to get him over the line.
Obviously I have a good relationship with Mel Gwinnett, the former Hampton boss, who highly recommended Ruaridh to me.
He is a natural left footed, left sided clever player, who is experienced at the level and will chip in with goals and work hard for the team.
He is just an all round top guy as well, and someone who will be brilliant for our younger players to help guide them both on and off the pitch.
I could not be more delighted to welcome Ruaridh to the football club and I’m looking forward to working with him.”
