Salisbury v Chelmsford City, National League South, Raymond McEnhill Stadium, Saturday 15th February 2025, 3:00pm kick-off.
Chelmsford City travel to Wiltshire this weekend to face Salisbury.
Robbie Simpson’s Clarets have moved up a place in the league table to 11th following the recent midweek fixtures, which saw City play out a stalemate at home against Hemel Hempstead Town.
A win at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium would help continue City’s progress up the congested midtable area of the National League South standings and represent an impressive result against a difficult side to beat.
Brian Dutton’s Salisbury side have only lost one league match in 2025 and will be out for revenge against Chelmsford City after suffering a late defeat on their visit to the EMJ Community Stadium earlier this season.
Here’s all that Clarets supporters need to know ahead of the game…
Team and match stats:
- Salisbury have both scored and conceded the same number of home goals this season (19).
- Only St Albans City (13) and Chelmsford City (12) have recorded more than the 11 National League South draws that Salisbury have this season.
- Since Boxing Day, the Whites have only lost one league game.

Opposition:
Phoenix club Salisbury FC were formed following the liquidation of Salisbury City. Since starting out in the Wessex League Premier in 2015-16, the Whites have earned three promotions and are currently enjoying a respectable first ever season playing sixth-tier football.
Brian Dutton’s men find themselves sitting 19th in the National League South table with around one-third of the season left to play. They are six points above the drop zone and will be looking to end the season strongly to stave off any fears of relegation.
Former Chelmsford City midfielder Callum Watts has been a key player for Salisbury since his arrival at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium last year. Watts has played 17 games in a Whites shirt and scored three goals. He will be hoping to face some of his former teammates for the first time since leaving Essex, after missing out on playing in the reverse fixture between the sides in October.

Team news:
Forward Jordan Greenidge is available for selection again after serving his three-game ban.
Chelmsford City Head of Medical Performance Arron Benstead has provided supporters with updates on the fitness of Cameron James, Saleem Akanbi and Freddie Hockey.
