We are delighted to announce the signing of Defender Sam Oguntayo!
Sam is a former Charlton Athletic defender who has spent time in the National League South. In March 2023 he joined Eastbourne Borough on loan as he helped the Sports push towards the playoffs. They narrowly missed out, finishing 8th just 3 points behind St Albans. Sam has gained further experience playing for both Hanwell Town, and most recently Lewes.
Manager Robbie Simpson said: “We are delighted that Sam has agreed to sign with us.
He is one of the hottest young talents in his position and he had many other suitors in our league so we are delighted that he feels like we are the right club for him.
He is reasonably local and he has a huge hunger to get back into the football league.
He fits the profile of what we are going to try and do next season perfectly and I am certainly very excited to getting to work with him and seeing him in a Claret shirt.”
