SIMMO MARKS 5 YEARS IN CHARGE

Tuesday March 11th 2025 marks 5 years since Robbie Simpson was appointed as the Clarets’ permanent boss! 

Simmo arrived initially as a player in the summer of 2019, joining after he departed MK Dons. His reign as manager was at first on an interim basis, after Rod Stringer was sacked. 8 games later, including a 4 games unbeaten run in the last 4, Robbie was handed the job.

In January 2025, it was announced that Robbie Simpson would be stepping down from his role at the end of the 24/25 season.

Congratulations to Robbie on 5 years at the club and let’s hope for a brilliant final 8 games under him!
