WESTON SUPER-MARE
STADIUM
Playing at the Woodspring Stadium, Weston are backing into the National League South. This has been their home since 1983, just under 100 years since they were formed, in 1887. With a capacity of 3,500, they have hosted big games, like an FA Cup tie against Doncaster with a ground just below 3,000.
MOST RECENT MEETING
Chelmsford City 2-2 Weston Super-Mare (16th March 2019) – A game in which the Clarets seemingly threw away, they were 2-0 up by the 33rd minute as Chris Whelpdale and Chez Isaac found the back of the net. Straight after half time, the visitors levelled with Matthew Bonner, before Tom Harrison received a straight red and the Clarets had a penalty. The effort was missed, as Weston equalised less than 10 minutes later, to take a point.
