A FEW CLUB LINKS

A new signing in East London, Lee Worgan is their shotstopper, and a former Claret. Following Danny Bloor’s departure from Eastbourne, his keeper followed him and now applies his trade for the Wings. As well as Lee, Welling have had Taofiq Olomowewe, who had a brief spell with the Clarets. He signed in January 2020, seeing his stay cut short following the arrival of Covid 19. The Burnley youth player has played for plenty of clubs at this level, with his spell at Welling also being somewhat Brief.

THE MANAGER

Only recently making the switch, Danny Bloor manages Welling. He had a 4 year stay with Eastbourne, before the change of ownership saw a subsequent change of manager. He had also previously managed Lewes, Eastwood Town and another National League South side, Worthing.
