Chelmsford City will be hosted by National League outfit Barnet in the FA Cup fourth round qualifying.

The Clarets were paired with the Bees in Monday afternoon’s draw on talkSPORT, as teams from the National League entered the hat alongside those who progressed in the third round qualifying stage.

Robbie Simpson’s squad will travel to the Hive London on Saturday 12th October.

Barnet, managed by Irishman Dean Brennan, are currently 1st in the National League table and have won 9 of their 12 league matches so far this season.

City fans will not have to cast their minds back far to remember the last competitive meeting between both sides. Chelmsford City and Barnet last met in the FA Cup first round during the 2022-23 season, with Charlie Ruff’s memorable late goal in north London earning his side a replay at the EMJ Community Stadium. Brennan’s side won the subsequent replay in Essex 1-0.

Ticketing news will be shared by both clubs in due course.
