I hope everyone is well and enjoying the season so far.
I have heard a few issues arise lately that I would like to address.
Firstly, Supporters being blocked from our social media accounts, I have been made aware that various supporters have been blocked or muted by our social media accounts, I will review these accounts in the coming weeks, look to understand why these accounts have been blocked or muted and unblock accordingly.
Can I reiterate that any offensive or abusive content will not be tolerated in any shape or form, please also remember that our accounts are run mostly by volunteers who are young people. Often comments are taken as personal attacks against them individually.
I have said on more than one occasion, if any supporter has any question or comment relating to the club, please just ask or contact me, my number is on the website, my email address is phil.crowe@chelmsfordcityfc.com I am also at the club most days, please don’t hide behind social media accounts.
The other point raised was additional costs on Ticketpass for the Barnet & Redditch games.
Both games were FA competitions, and therefore ticket pricing and arrangements must be agreed by both sides and funds split, for our league and season tickets the club consume the additional cost, however this could not happen for the cup games.
