We can confirm that Ben Brookes has turned down a new contract in order to join another club.
Manager Robbie Simpson said: “We wish Ben all the best and thank him for his efforts for the club.
Naturally, we are disappointed as we felt like we were on a journey with Ben to help him become a full time professional footballer.
Obviously having signed him from Hashtag and getting him to where he is now, we are very proud and Ben has done every so well.
We wanted to continue that journey but Ben has decided his journey will be continued elsewhere.
We wish him the very best, but not when he plays us!”
