CCFC COMMUNITY DAY – 25th November 2023 – White Ribbon, Community Day & Christmas Market
Chelmsford City Football Club are delighted to announce that we will be holding our community day on Saturday 25th November, 2023. Not only is this our community day, but it is White Ribbon Day. White Ribbon is the UK’s leading charity engaging men and boys to end violence against women and girls. The club are in full support of the charity and will have presence from the charity, on the community day.
As we continue to develop our community programme, the rationale is that our Community Day will bring the people of Chelmsford together, highlight some of the good works the club and others in the community are doing and raise awareness of White Ribbon.
So what will happen on the day?
Football
We welcome Truro City to the Melbourne Community Stadium, for the first time since November 2018. The game will kick off at 3pm, as usual.

Entry before 1:30pm is free!
Our ticket prices for the day, from 1:30pm onwards, have been altered.
Adults – £10
Concessions – £5
Unaccompanied Under 18s – £5 (Without a paying adult or concession)
Accompanied Under 18s – Free (With a paying adult or concession)
Christmas Market
There will be a number of stalls that are set up at the ground, from 11:30am onwards. They will be offering Christmas gifts, with everyone welcome through the free entry, until 1:30pm.
In addition, we will have food on offer. We will have a German food offering, with sausages, sauerkraut, etc as well as our usual burger van and Snookie’s coffee van.

In addition to the external stall providers the club shop is creating some “Gift packages” of CCFC memorabilia and the club will be offering an Xmas ticket package of:
Three bottles of Traunstein beer in a presentation box and an adult matchday ticket for £25; or a concession matchday ticket for £20 ( Ticket vouchers can be downloaded from TicketPass).
White Ribbon
As it is White Ribbon Day, we will have people from the organisation present, to answer questions and spread awareness. Paul Ballard, Police Commissioner for Chelmsford & Maldon, will also be at the game.
The club has become a White Ribbon partner organisation.
