Chelmsford City have been drawn away to old rivals Romford in the Emirates FA Cup 3rd Qualifying Round.
Ties to be played W/C 1st October 2022, and the fixture will take place at Barking’s Mayesbrook Park ground (where the two teams ground share). The two sides have not met in the historic competition since 1965.
The “Boro” currently play in the Essex Senior League Premier Division and occupy 7th place after 3 wins and 1 loss in their opening 4 games. They’ve progressed through the early qualifying rounds beating Saffron Walden, Takeley, Hashtag United and Potters Bar Town in the process.
