Chelmsford City is looking to recruit a paid full-time Community Coach.

This is a full-time role, and the successful applicant will be part of our community team, teaching youngsters to play and enjoy football as well as raising fitness levels.
We are looking for someone who has some experience working in a primary school environment, with a knowledge of various sports.
Job duties:
• Teach PE (games) to children in the community.
• Demonstrate and help children to understand the importance of keeping fit.
• Oversee equipment for training sessions/courses.
Essential skills, experience and qualifications:
• Full UK Driving License and vehicle.
• Level 2 Governing Body Coaching Qualification (preferred).
• Level 1 Sports Qualification with a view to completing Level 2.
• Knowledge of various sports.
• Enthusiastic and approachable.
• Experience working with children.
The successful candidate will be willing to learn, self-motivated and enthusiastic about teaching and helping children to learn.
This person will be a huge part of our development towards doing what we can for our community and the overall growth of the Club.
The salary for this role ranges from £18,000-£20,000 per year, depending upon experience.
