We are delighted to announce that Henry Gray and Finley Barbrook have renewed their loan until the end of the season!
Both on loan from Ipswich, the 2 youngsters have had a real impact on the Clarets. Barbrook joined in late October, making his debut in a 0-0 draw with Taunton Town. He has gone on to shine in both a midfield position and, more recently, in defence. As well as that, he has scored twice. Two incredible strikes from Fin, as he scored against both Torquay United and Weymouth.
On the other hand, Henry Gray joined the Clarets in early December. His debut was in the penalty defeat to Redbridge, but he has gone on to rack up the clean sheets in the league. In the 13 league games he has played, he has kept 8 clean sheets. Chelmsford currently have the best defence in the league, with the least amount of goals conceded.
Manager Robbie Simpson broke the news in his post match interview after our 1-1 raw with Farnborough. He said: “Fin and Henry have both now renewed their loans until the end of the season.
That is great for us, I thought Fin had another outstanding game at the back next to Dave.”
We are delighted that they’ve both been extended and look forward to seeing them play for us until the end of the season!
