Freddie Hockey
Freddie suffered a grade 2 hamstring strain during the Hampton game back in December. Rehab has gone really well and a recent scan has shown that the injury has now fully healed. His next stage of his return to training is to now increase the load in the gym, increase his running, building up to repeated sprints and change of direction movements. We hope that Freddie will be in full training within the next couple of weeks.
Cameron James
Towards the end of the Eastbourne game, Cameron suffered with a knee injury. Cam has had an MRI scan this week and will be seen by a specialist next week to fully determine the nature of his injury.
Saleem Akanbi
Another injury from the Eastbourne game. In the first half whilst challenging for the ball, Saleem unfortunately rolled his left ankle. As a result he suffered a sprain to his lateral ankle ligaments. Saleem has resumed and tolerated well jumping and landing. We will this week resume straight line running and we will gradually begin to increase this over the next 7-10 days with a view to returning him back to training once he’s at full pace and tolerating change of direction movements.
