We can confirm that Justin Moseley has agreed terms to be part of Angelo Harrop’s backroom staff for the 2025-26 season!
Justin Moseley joins having been Angelo Harrop’s Goalkeeping Coach during their time together at Braintree Town. Moseley helped form the best defence in the 23-24 National League South season, with Braintree only conceding 42 goals in 46 games. Prior to his work with the Iron Moseley was GK Coach under Ian Allinson at Boreham Wood. He holds plenty of experience within the National League South and surrounding divisions, as well as at one of our pre season opponents. In the early 2000s Moseley was a Youth GK Coach with Arsenal.
Upon joining the club, Moseley said: “It’s marvellous to be at Chelmsford, it’s been a long time waiting as i’ve been waiting for Angelo to call!
“I jumped at the chance, it’s a great club to be at, really positive and everything is looking good.
Obviously I was at Braintree with Angelo before where we had really good success. We understand how we both work and he trusts me as I know how to get results in the goalkeeping department.”
Angelo Harrop said: “I’m really delighted to have Justin Mosley on board, someone I’ve worked very, very closely with over the last few years.
“The job he’d done with the goalkeepers at Braintree Town Football Club was outstanding in terms of developing them and moving them up the football pyramid.
We hope he can bring the same success to our football club at Chelmsford City Football Club, he’s very detailed, very professional and brings a really good energy to the football club and team, so I’m absolutely delighted.“
