Dan’s family have a long history with Chelmsford City spanning four generations, in fact Percy Duncan Macdonald (Great Grandfather) was a director and helped bring the legendary Arthur Rowe to manage City in 1945. Arthur led City to the Southern League Title before going on to manage Tottenham Hotspur and win the Division 2 and Division 1 titles (the now Championship and Premier League) in successive seasons.
