Jermaine Francis signed for the Clarets in August 2023, making his debut on the same day as a substitute in a late win away to Welling United. Francis, 21, had left Hashtag United in the summer, trialling with National League side Barnet before joining the Clarets.
Francis scored his first Clarets goal in a win against Eastbourne Borough. His impressive early-season form won him an international call-up to Grenada in the CONCACAF Nations League, making his debut for the Spice Boys against Suriname as a substitute and then playing away to Honduras a few days later.
