U5 & U6 Development Club
Our Saturday morning Development Club is the ideal way for kids to get involved with organised football. Dedicated to children aged 5-6, it’s an hour of football fun and games where they can have fun and keep active.
If your child enjoys the Development Club, it’s also our pathway to our U7 teams.

5v5 Mini Soccer (U7 & U8)
We aim to run at least two teams at both the U7 and U8 age groups each season, with training on Tuesday or Friday evenings and matches played on Saturday or Sunday mornings. The emphasis at these age groups is on fun and learning in the team environment. Players will rotate positions as they learn all aspects of the game. 7v7 Mini Soccer (U9 & U10)
We aim to run at least two teams at both the U9 and U10 age groups each season, with training on Tuesday or Friday evenings and matches played on Sunday mornings. At these age groups we still want the fun and learning to continue but we also start to see more individual skills and aptitudes for certain positions developing more consistently. 9v9 Football (U11 & U12)
We aim to run at least two teams at both the U11 and U12 age groups each season, with training on Tuesday or Friday evenings and matches played on Sunday mornings. Enjoyment and development of the player and the team are the main focus as players continue to learn from their experiences both on and off the pitch. 11v11 Football (U13-U18)
We operate teams at all age groups up to, and including, U18. At most age groups we have teams playing in both the Chelmsford Youth Football League and the Eastern Junior Alliance.
