Chelmsford City is delighted to announce that an agreement has been made for 11+ Teacher to become the Ladies’ Away Shirt Sponsor.
11+ Teacher is a Chelmsford-based business that offers tutoring services and mock exams to Year 4,5 and 6 students for their 11+ exams or independent school exams.
As the Ladies’ Away Shirt Sponsor, the 11+ Teacher logo will take pride of place on the Ladies’ team’s 2021/22 away shirt.
Speaking on the sponsorship, the tutor, Beena Sharma, was delighted to be joining the Claret Family.
She said: “I have been looking for more exposure where I can promote women and girls in different sports because I also sponsor a couple of cricket clubs in Chelmsford and London.
“Football and cricket are my two passions, so sponsoring the local team is something that will be beneficial to both of us.
“The Ladies’ team have been looking for an away kit sponsor and that presented the right moment for me to get involved.”
The Club’s Business Development Executive, Emma Rushen, also shared her delight that 11+ Teacher were coming on board.
She explained: “This sponsorship is massive because Women’s Football is all over the media at the moment, it’s very much up and coming.
“So, any kind of sponsorship is only going to help us to catch that wave and move forward.
“I think it’s good because it shows that the Club is diverse, it shows that anyone can come and play, whether it’s boys or girls, in any age group.
“I think it’s good that we’re promoting that more as a club now; it’s only going to help make people more aware of what we do.”
