Chelmsford City FC are delighted to announce the return of Frankie Terry from Colchester United on loan.

Frankie Terry returns to Chelmsford City having made 22 appearances for the Clarets this season and having scored his first senior goal against Slough Town on Monday 13th February 2023. Terry was recalled by Colchester United on 4th March 2023 after new manager Ben Garner came into the club but has now been allowed to re-join City on loan.

Clarets Manager Robbie Simpson spoke on Frankie Terry’s return to the club “As soon as Colchester got one of their centre-halves back fit and saw that Frankie wasn’t involved we were very quick to move on this one.”

“Frankie’s been exceptional for us and it was an absolute no brainer for us to bring him back, even more so with Dave [Winfield] suspended for a couple of games, Cameron [James] looks like he’s got a bit of an injury and we’ve got to be careful with Ade bringing him back to full fitness as well.”

“We are delighted to bring Frankie back so quickly, and he’s been itching to get back so it’s a great one for us”.

We look forward to seeing Frankie Terry back playing for the Clarets over the course of our remaining fixtures.
