Chelmsford City can confirm that Hady Ghandour and John Freeman have returned to their parent clubs.

The duo joined the Clarets earlier this month on loan from Sky Bet League One outfits.

Lebanese international Ghandour joined the Club in a short-term move from Charlton Athletic, meanwhile, Freeman came in from MK Dons.

During their stays at the EMG Inspire Stadium, both loanees made five appearances for Robbie Simpson’s side in league and cup.

Speaking on Ghandour’s departure, Robbie Simpson stated: “I’m really thankful to Hady for his efforts, I thought he did really well for us.

“We hope he can go back and try and force his way into Charlton’s first team. We’ll be keeping an eye out for him and definitely be staying in touch.”

The City Manager then said on Freeman: “We thank John for coming in, we hope that we’ve given him a little bit of a platform and some more match fitness to go back to MK and challenge to get in their first team.

“We thank John for his efforts and wish him well for the future.”

The Club would like to thank both players for their efforts in claret and wish them well going forwards.
