Chelmsford City is pleased to confirm that a friendly against an MK Dons XI has been added to the pre-season schedule.
The fixture with the Milton Keynes club will take place at the EMG Inspire Stadium on Monday, 19th July.
Russel Martin’s side will travel to Essex following a 13th-placed finish during the 2020/21 Sky Bet League One season.
Over the campaign, the Buckinghamshire outfit accrued 65 points during the 46-game season.
The Dons also reached the third round of the FA Cup, where they were knocked out by Premier League Burnley.
Clarets boss Robbie Simpson played for MK Dons during the season prior to his arrival at the EMG Inspire Stadium.
Over the 2018/19 campaign, Simmo made 24 appearances in all competitions for the Stadium MK club and bagged two goals.
